One of SUPFLEX’s most significant reference projects is the Hong Kong International Airport SkyPier Passenger Terminal, where the system has been operating successfully since its installation in 2007 and expansion in 2009.
Supporting a 3,650-ton floating passenger terminal, the heavy-duty SUPFLEX elastic mooring system was specifically engineered to withstand the harsh hydrodynamic conditions of the South China Sea. Unlike
conventional rigid mooring systems, SUPFLEX technology allows controlled movement while significantly reducing peak loads transferred to pontoons, anchors and supporting infrastructure.
Today, after more than 19 consecutive years of continuous service, the system continues to provide reliable operation in one of Asia’s busiest marine transport hubs—an outstanding demonstration of the durability, resilience and engineering integrity that define the SUPFLEX brand.

As part of the recently completed Four Seasons Hotel Marina refurbishment in Oman, Livart Group
integrated 84 SUPFLEX elastic mooring systems with premium Walcon Marine aluminium pontoons to deliver a complete marina solution for one of the region’s most prestigious luxury waterfront destinations.
The elastic mooring systems were engineered to stabilise the floating marina while accommodating
environmental forces, tidal movement, vessel berthing loads and operational requirements, ensuring long- term performance and enhanced user comfort.
